The WoolyWoofers Story

Several years ago our pet dog started to suffer from poor health and increasingly bad behaviour; we tried multiple vet treatments but nothing seemed to work.

Then coincidentally, we were browsing online when we came across reports of health problems caused by memory foam in humans. It occurred to us that the chemicals could be affecting our dog who spent many hours lying in his memory foam bed.

We have a smallholding with a few sheep; we know that sheep wool has been used traditionally for centuries in clothing and bedding and is one of the healthiest materials available.

Unfortunately we were unable to find a dog bed manufactured with sheep wool, therefore we decided to make our own using our own sheep.

Within twelve months our dog's health and behavioural issues had improved significantly which we believe was due to the removal of the harmful memory foam and its replacement with a natural sheep wool bed.

Word got around and several of our friends asked us if we could make sheep wool beds for their dogs. Within a few months, we found our selves running a small business helping dogs have a healthy and chemical-free sleeping environment.
